Summertime fun :)

I've been toted all over the place this summer... most recently with mommy down to Tampa to stay with Grandma Wheeler for a week while daddy was working alot. Everyone, including Kelly's doggies, was so happy to see me!

Note that there is cotton in Aunt Kelly's ear, not over-growing yeast or anything gross.

Of course, daddy was so happy to have me home! And who wouldn't be? I'm a bundle of cuteness.

Grandmommy couldn't get enough of me, though, so she came to visit last weekend to hang out with me more!

Tummy time! I'm getting so much better at this :)

Ok, so not the most exciting clip, but mommy thinks its adorable! There is even a smile in there at some point... just take a closer look...

And a new experience this week: my first swim! I did pretty well, got a little fussy after a while, but all in all swimming was a positive experience! Mommy says I have to be a water baby since I am her daughter.

Fourth of July FUN!

Paige's first Fourth of July weekend was packed with fun adventures! Friday the Fourth we went blueberry picking, and got quite a harvest. We toted Paige along in her Bjorn, which she was relatively happy in. Thankfully, we were able to stay shaded so as to not overcook the baby...

We then headed down to Polk County for the weekend for some time on the water. It was difficult to wake Paige and Dustin up at first... but slowly each got out of bed to enjoy the beautiful day.

This was Paige's first time on the water. She seemed to like it, especially the wind on her face when the boat was moving fast.

Mommy and daddy got some ski and board time in... Paige is looking forward to joining them as soon as she's old enough!!

All in all, a very happy baby and a great day for being out on the boat!

Smiley Paige

Paige is a happy, smiley baby - although she is making it difficult to document. She really does smile, and 'coo;' my favorite expression of her sounds something like 'higeeeee.' Below are multiple attempts to photograph her in this state of cooing, smiley happiness... however catching the illusive smile requires precise timing...

The not-quite-a-smile attempts:
Extrememly cute, but still not a smile:

And finally, the only two smiles produced by Paige that have been photographed to date:

I am confident more smiley pictures will follow :)
